Let the name of the LORD be praised, both now and forevermore.
Psalm 113:2
My blog will focus on the attributes of God and His many blessings. My hope is that your faith will be strengthened and you will be encouraged on your journey.
It’s much easier for me to praise God on the good days when the sun is shining, the doctor’s report is good and there’s food in the refrigerator. It’s simple to rejoice when the kids are healthy, you’re feeling rested, looking at the ocean or rejoicing over an answered prayer.
It’s much harder for me to praise God on those not-so-good days when it’s gray and gloomy outside. Or, when a friend has a doctor’s report that comes back as cancer. Maybe, its just one of those days when the kids are sick and I’m exhausted and there’s still loads of laundry to do. Top it all off with the need to go to the grocery store and I’m waiting on what seems to be unanswered prayers.
Praising prayer reminds us that God is Good, which enables us to rest in His hands regardless of our circumstances.
Proclaiming the truth about God can change the way you think and feel. Our praising prayer touches the very heart of God as we intentionally turn our focus on Him. Please take a moment to visit my blog and share your thoughts.
