When God Seems Silent

On that Saturday before Resurrection Sunday when Jesus’ body was placed in a cold tomb; people must have thought God was silent. Has there ever been a time in your life when you felt like God was silent? Sometimes unanswered prayers can make you feel the silence. Whenever God seems silent, I encourage you to go back and let God speak to you through His living and active Word.

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matt. 6:33

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matt. 11:28

“For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” Isaiah 41:13

“Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.” Psalm 91:14
