Thanksgiving day is one of my favorite holidays. I like celebrating big blessings and little blessings too. I’m thanking God for smiles! Big smiles, grins, or belly laughs can sure make a difference in my attitude. I’m grateful that God created in us the ability to smile. I think smiles capture the heart of God. He created us according to His image, so I bet God smiles too. I’m asking God to remind people of His great love and to bring back smiles in the faces of those who feel they have lost their ability to smile.
“The LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.” Num. 6:25-26

Your blog made me smile as I read it, and, in fact, I’m still smiling!! Yes, without a doubt, I believe God smiles, too. I have on my bedroom wall a picture of Jesus, with what I call a serious smile, rather than a belly laugh smile.
