It’s remarkable how a plant actually breaks through hard dirt and even deep mulch. When I saw this picture it reminded me of how God has pulled me through some hard times and deep hurts. For instance, an at-risk pregnancy, a serious car accident, job stress, surgeries, sick babies and my husband’s stroke. I’m certain that only God pulled me through those troubled times. We can be encouraged because even in the hard twists and turns in life there is hope through Jesus Christ. He is strong. God will lift you up and pull you through.
He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. Psalm 40:2
