Enjoy His Presence

You’re invited to come with me and together let’s become more aware of God’s presence and His many blessings. My focus will be on praising God for who He is, and sharing life while standing firm on the truth of God’s Word. My hope is that we will enjoy His presence, and our love for Jesus will deepen and our faith will become even stronger. Together let’s enjoy this journey of the heart!

I can’t look at the ocean without thinking about the power of God.

When I look at the moon and stars I see His indescribable greatness. I can’t help but think of God’s love for beauty and His sense of humor when I look at the intricacy of flowers and the uniqueness of animals.

But even in the magnificence of God’s creative work it was not complete until He made us. God created us to enjoy His fellowship. He longs for us to be together with Him and to enjoy His presence. More than anything else He wants us to know Him and to be with Him forever. 

Not only do we see the evidence of God’s presence in His creative works, but we can become more aware of His presence in our daily life. That truth motivated me to begin my journaling journey with God. I wanted to become aware of God’s presence in my life along with His blessings. In 1996 I bought my first journal and started writing to God. Over the years I’ve continued to write. I’m now on journal 46.

Expressing my thoughts and feelings to God in writing has cultivated a sense of His presence. Life can be hard with its twist and turns. Yet even in our struggles and brokenness, God is near.
